About Maths Builder
Maths Builder is a free online mathematics resource for primary school students, teachers and parents. It covers Primary Mathematics content for the Australian Curriculum, from Foundation (Kindergarten) to Year 6, with printable worksheets for every topic — and each worksheet is supported by an interactive learning game, so students can practise what they have just learned and build knowledge, speed and confidence.
About the author
Maths Builder was created by Alan McSeveny, Australia’s most experienced mathematics author. Alan is the author of the well-known Signpost Mathematics and On Your Mark Mathematics series, used in classrooms across Australia for decades.
About the designer
This site has been modernised by Mark Sze, an AI engineer, and made available to schools and families, bringing the original Maths Builder program to a new generation of students.

Alan is the creator and principal writer of the Maths Builder online program. Alan has co-authored well over 100 mathematics textbooks. Before his writing and publishing careers, Alan taught high school mathematics for over 25 years, including roles as head teacher, teacher-trainer, and maths consultant.

Rachel is part of the Maths Builder educational writing team and has co-authored 54 mathematics textbooks. Rachel is also a primary school teacher.
