Multiplication and division — Level 5
A calculator is used to multiply and divide decimals by 10, 100 and 1000 in order to establish the rules. Practice is given applying these rules. The rules are: When multiplying by 10, 100 or 1000 move the decimal point to the right 1, 2 or 3 places. When dividing by 10, 100 or 1000 move the decimal point to the left 1, 2 or 3 places.
