Teaching point shows 11 is the same as 10 and 1, 12 is the same as 10 and 2, etc. Write the number of animals in each group of border pictures. Practise making numbers using base 10 blocks. Discuss things that come in groups of ten or twelve. Colour the box that has more balls.
